Carry On Cabby Reviews

No masterpiece here, but the improvement over the usual "Carry On" comedy probably stems from a switch of writers in which Rothwell replaced Norman Hudis. Successful entrepreneur James's fleet of taxis has made him a prosperous man-- much to the dismay of his lonely wife, Jacques, who is sick of her husband's spending all his time at work. To teach him a lesson, Jacques secretly invests some of her husband's money in a rival taxi service she develops, which features sexy cab drivers in revealing uniforms. Her venture is a success, and James (who doesn't know of his wife's involvement) tries to destroy his sudden competition but is thwarted by the gals. Everything works out in the end.
