American pilot Montgomery is shot down over Germany and put in a POW camp. He escapes along with a Czech (Taylor) and a Russian woman medic (Annabella). As they make their treacherous way to freedom Taylor is exposed as a Nazi spy and killed. Annabella flees to England in a fishing boat provided by the underground, but Montgomery learns of a nearby airfield and, disguising himself as a German pilot, steals a bomber and flies it home, along the way shooting down the German who had killed his brother when he parachuted out of his plane earlier. A decent wartime programmer.
