Who killed the channel swimmer (Joy Webster)? Griff: John Ireland. Paul: Derek Bond. Shelley: Maureen Connell. Bill: Leslie Dwyer. Danny: Sheldon Lawrence.

Substandard crime drama has Webster as a model and channel swimmer drowned by her oily manager (Bond) during her swim as he tries to keep their affair from his wife. Webster's other lover, fellow channel swimmer Lawrence, is suspicious, so Bond tries the same scheme. It fails this time and the police close in. Silly plot in spite of the novel background, and badly pulled off.
