Rather sleazy drama about rebellious teen Hills who is appalled when her widower father, Farrar, takes young Adam as his new bride. She openly despises her new stepmother and spends most of her time hanging out with some self-styled beatniks in SoHo. She winds up in a strip joint run by the throughly despicable Lee, who tries to seduce Hills but gets stabbed to death by Lawrence, his jealous lover. Adam Faith, a popular rocker of the day, plays one of the beatniks and does a couple of numbers. The John Barry Seven also provide some musical moments.
