Bad for Each Other Reviews

BAD FOR EACH OTHER may be harmful to your health. A real bore fashioned from Horace McCoy's story "Scalpel," it tells of Heston (who has never been stiffer or more self-righteous) having to choose between a career as a society doctor or doing what he was trained to do: helping people. He opts for money and the wiles of Lizabeth Scott. Late in the movie, Heston renounces his love of mammon and decides to aid the miners who have been trapped in the usual cave-in. It should go without saying that there's an altruistic nurse hanging around who will help Heston through the bends of giving up his lucrative practice and becoming a doctor of the people again. Some excellent character actors are totally wasted in this film, notably Williams, Collins, and the always-believable Dunnock.
