Alexa (Christine Moore) has made sure that wealthy men have "kept" her in grand style. But weary of the powerful men who avail themselves of her services, Alexa is headed for a breakdown when her best friend (Ruth Collins) introduces her to Tony (Kirk Baily), a sexy playwright who wants to do research on her for a work-in-progress. Baring her soul but not her body, Alexa reveals the sordid secrets of the skin trade to Tony. Meandering along teasingly, ALEXA promises much but delivers little; its love scenes lack sensuality, and its portrait of two lost souls who find each other is passionless.
