As hard as it was to lose Stabler, we had some sighs of relief when Amaro joined the team. Despite sometimes having a temper, deep down Amaro is a loving father who's always looking fighting for justice.

This take-charge homicide detective wows us with his ability to take on the supernatural creatures that go bump in the night and is perceptive about the beasts within us. Rawr! Not only does he make us feel safe, but how can we resist such dark good looks and that brooding demeanor?

Special Agent Dwayne "King" Pride (Scott Bakula), NCIS: New Orleans It only took the first five minutes of the spin-off's backdoor pilot for the for viewers to see Special Agent Pride shirtless, but it's not just his hot bod that will have fans drooling. There's also King's smooth-as-silk Southern drawl, old school charm and his wicked sense of humor. Oh, and did we mention his plays jazz piano with the best of them? The NCIS badge never looked so good.

Henry might be an immortal "student of death," but this medical examiner doesn't just sit idly by when another dead body crosses his path. Henry goes above and beyond the line of duty — even dying more than a few times — all in the name of helping victims get justice. And not only does he have a heart of gold, but he stays young and handsome forever! What's not to love?

There's nothing more attractive than brilliance, unless it's also coupled with a heartbreaking humanity. Sherlock is welcome to practice his powers of deduction on us any day, and we'll make him forget all about the pain caused by his criminal mastermind ex-girlfriend. Plus: How many people can rock old-man tweeds and fairisle-print sweaters and still look good?

The New Kids on the Block bad boy certainly has "The Right Stuff" for the NYPD. Hotheaded and brash, Danny takes no prisoners and bends the rules sometimes, but he's a softie at heart: He always puts his family first.

When Gordon's not upholding the law, he's having sexy sleepovers with his girlfriend, mentoring orphaned children and generally being perfect. We have zero objections calling Charleston's new city attorney swoon-worthy, and it's not just because of his leading man looks. In addition to this Southern gentleman's impeccable manners, he also is one of the few crime fighters with their priorities in check: He always puts his two adorable young daughters before his work.

At first glance, it's undeniable that FBI Agent (and bureau legend) Paul Briggs is a classically handsome man. But those who dare dig below the surface will find Briggs even more enticing thanks to his easy-going charm and dark and mysterious past. A bad boy who plays for the good guys? Count us in.

Det. English makes our hearts flutter and ache on TNT's Murder in the First. The man can certainly rock a suit and tie like nobody's business, and the fact that he's a grieving widow allows us to also see his sensitive side. It's no wonder Terry has women (including his grieving sister-in-law and a real estate agent) falling all over him, but his polite but firm rejection of their advances out of respect for his dead wife only makes us swoon even more.

Between his killer smile (no pun intended) and his gorgeous golden locks, Patrick Jane can study us up and down any day of the week. Surprisingly, we're loving seeing more devil in this handsome devil.

Yeah, DiNozzo's easy on the eyes, but his best attribute is his self-deprecating sense of humor and lightheartedness. His incessant movie references not only break the tension, they sometimes crack the case. His Sean Connery impression is — dare we say? — more entertaining than the real thing.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), Justified We love a confident man, and they don't come more confident than the laid-back, quick-triggered lawman Raylan Givens. He's a man of few words, but when he does open his mouth, you get a witty one-liner that, with his Southern drawl, is sure to make the ladies melt. Or maybe it's just the hat…

Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles), Supernatural Sure, they aren't exactly cops, and the crimes they solve aren't the most realistic on TV, but whenever the hunky brothers are called to fight supernatural evil, we can't stop watching. And honestly, what's sexier than a guy who'll literally go to hell and back to protect those he cares about?

Derek Morgan is the only man on TV whose T-shirts are tighter than Simon Cowell's. Fortunately, he has the ripped bod and guns to fill them out in all the right places. Note to writers: We also wouldn't be opposed to seeing Morgan in his football uniform from his Northwestern playing days.

Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), Hawaii Five-0 While we were bummed that O'Loughlin's previous TV efforts (Moonlight and Three Rivers) didn't work out, we think he's finally found his true calling. After all, O'Loughlin's shirtlesness is made more plausible on a show set in Hawaii.
