While she's delivered the highest-energy performances so far, Naima continues to hang at the bottom of our poll. Why? Well, her take on "What's Love Got to Do With It" didn't hit it out of the park, and unless she pulls something amazing this week, she won't be long for the show.

Haley needs to find the right song, stat! She's tied for the bottom after coming perilously close to the end last week. Her "I'm Your Baby Tonight" was fine, but we — and TVGuide.com readers, it would seem — think she needs to find something less poppy and more groovy.

We don't know what the judges heard either — Jacob's version of "Alone" was all over the place, to say the least. But it seems poll participants agree with us and not the judges, who continue to praise his caterwauling. This week, he ranks third from the bottom.

The flu strikes Idol — and Paul suffers for it! He slides to No. 8 out of 11, following his very hoarse (even for Paul) take on "I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues." Does this also mean, perhaps, that audiences are tired of his broken-limb "dancing"? Just checking.

Judges actually praised the flu's other victim, Lauren, who sang "I'm the Only One," which in fact was a huge improvement over her first-week song selection. Still, she isn't wowing anyone the way she did during those initial audition rounds. Nerves? In any case, TVGuide.com readers put her in the bottom of half of the pack this week.

Why, Thia, why do you insist on acting three times your age? The gowns, the ballads ("Colors of the Wind," really?), the complete and total lack of energy? Girl, you're 15! Have some fun! And while we at least partially blame Jimmy Iovine for that horrific arrangement, poll voters will not be moved. You're tied for No. 7 this week. Now do something to change our minds.

Slowing things down worked for Stefano as he tackled the ballad "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and showed off his vocal power. Apparently our voters were impressed enough to have him make a huge jump — up five notches — from last week.

Casey's take on "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was a little uneven and screechy, but his charisma and willingness to take risks kept him in the top half of our polls easily despite slipping down two spots.

James continued to rock consistently, this time with Bon Jovi's classic "I'll Be There for You." His signature scream made an appearance and his ability to work the crowd felt natural enough for one baby step forward in the Power Rankings.

Watch out, Pia! Scotty crept back up again after crooning "Can I Trust You With My Heart," which allowed him to show range outside of his signature baritone. His voice soared to the upper register, and so did his Power Ranking.

Pia stuck with the diva strategy with a high-energy take on Whitney Houston's "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," and it seems to be working. The voters kept her and those high notes on the top of our polls.
