Jasmine Murray (tie)

Cutie-pie Jasmine Murray floundered in the semifinals, but came back strong with a version of Christina Aguilera's "Reflection" that made us forget she's only 16. Youth is usually a double-edged sword in the competition, but can Jasmine overcome her age and the lack of votes in our poll?

Michael Sarver (tie)

This roughneck oil worker's success was one of few shocks in the semifinals, despite the judges' constant pimping. Those who picked up the phone for him, however, weren't as active in our poll, landing the good ol' boy in a tie for dead last.

Jorge Nunez

With an infectious smile and an aw-shucks journey from P.R. to L.A., Jorge charmed his way into the Top 13. While we know he can sing, we're wondering (as are many of you, apparently) if/when the talent will ever outshine the backstory.

Kris Allen (tie)

Given the little screen time he was given prior to the semifinals, we're shocked to see Kris in the finals. But a strong cover of "Man in the Mirror" earned him enough votes to land in the log-jammed middle of our pack.

Megan Corkrey (tie)

She's quirky, cute, tattooed and completely rhythmless, but the judges saw fit to give her a chance to shine in the Top 13. Will her "current" vibe betray her during theme weeks, or will she be versatile enough to mix it up?

Matt Giraud (tie)

Forget his "Viva La Vida" trainwreck during the semifinals; Giraud is the new play-that-funky-music white boy. He oozed soul during Hollywood Week and again on the wild card show, earning his way back into the judges' good graces. Question: Will that Coldplay disaster spook him from taking any risks in the finals?

Scott MacIntyre (tie)

Scott's inspirational story no doubt moved viewers to give Idol's first blind contestant their votes. But others argue that his vocal abilities are just OK. Will he match up with some of the bigger voices in the weeks ahead?

Alexis Grace (tie)

She brought the house down with her semifinal performance of Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)." Her big voice was only one sign that she's coming out of her shell, and according to our poll, she's one to watch.

Allison Iraheta (tie)

Sixteen-year-old Allison blew voters away with her powerful rendition of Heart's "Alone." We're still concerned about her youth, but if she keeps performing like a seasoned vet, she will be tough to stop.

Anoop Desai

Aside from having the greatest name in Idol history, Anoop is also one of the most likable contestants ever. We just hope he starts singing something other than "My Prerogative."

Lil Rounds

There's nothing lil' about this diva's voice, which she proved again with a stirring version of Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You." She's definitely the favorite to win among the girls, but the boys better watch their backs.

Danny Gokey

Much has been written about Danny Gokey's legitimately sad story (his wife died), and whether or not it should be a topic for public consumption on a singing competition. Exploiter or not, the dude can sing. As long as he keeps hitting all the appropriate notes — while singing and otherwise — he'll do just fine.

Adam Lambert

Adam came on strong late in our poll to take the top spot. He's shown a knack for interesting interpretations of familiar songs — even if they lean toward the overly theatrical. If he can strike the balance between creative and bearable, his killer range will take him far.
