Where We Left Off: Coleman (Michael Rady), the documentary-filmmaker-turned-reality-tv-producer who wooed Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and also tried to talk her into selling her friends on "Everlasting" down the river in exchange for her own project, was unceremoniously fired in the Season 2 finale. The only reason Rachel and Quinn (Constance Zimmer) pulled off this master move was because they found out he had hired extras to play the roles of sex trafficking victims in his award-winning documentary. They're not totally rid of him and his machinations to bring down the show yet -- the last we saw of him, he was plotting with Rachel's ex Jeremy (who was fired for assaulting Rachel) and Yael, an undercover reporter, to bring the show down. Yet as Coleman and Yael were speeding off to expose the show, their car was involved in an accident and it is unclear if they survived. If they live to tell their tale, Rachel, Quinn and Chet (Craig Bierko) might lose their jobs and do serious time for their misdeeds.

The Scoop: In Season 3, "Everlasting" returns with a Suitress, aka unREAL's version of a Bachelorette. In this exclusive Season 3 image, fans meet Caitlin FitzGerald as Serena. A self-proclaimed feminist, the brilliant, wealthy and beautiful Serena is playing a game that not even Quinn and Rachel can figure out. Things get so out of hand on the first night of filming that we'll get to see an "Everlasting" first: TV Guide can exclusively reveal that Quinn and Rachel find themselves with a runaway Suitress (and one sexy contestant she convinces to go with her) on their hands! Considering Quinn's job is on the line, the night goes from bad to worse. Have the women producing "Everlasting" finally met their match?

Where We Left Off: Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) & Co.'s war against the Saviors suffered a massive setback in the midseason finale when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his followers escaped the Sanctuary and took back the Hilltop and the Kingdom and burned Alexandria to the ground. The survivors were trapped in the sewer, waiting out the conflagration. Even worse, Rick's son Carl (Chandler Riggs) revealed that he had been bitten by a walker and only had a few hours to live.

The Scoop: The midseason premiere will be Carl's farewell. Before he succumbs, he'll have to impress upon his father the necessity of showing Negan mercy in order to prepare for a sustainable future. Carl believes that cooperation is the only way to avoid endless war, and he'll have to make Rick come around.

New-ish character Siddiq (Avi Nash) -- who Carl was bringing back to Alexandria when he got bit -- will play a big role in the conversion of Rick Grimes. In the crystal ball-style season premiere flash-forward, Rick said "my mercy prevailed over my wrath," a paraphrase of a quote from the Koran that Siddiq has also said. Siddiq's going to be Rick's compassion teacher.

Where We Left Off: The Season 2 finale left us with a lot of changes: the deaths of Ruby (Lucy Lawless), Baal (Joel Tobeck), and Ash's dad (again). But the biggest death of all was undoubtedly the cabin in the woods. Returning to the location for the second finale in a row, it didn't survive the boss battle this time, sinking straight into hell. Granted, this incident also happened in 1980, and '80s Ruby survived both the cabin fire and the trip back to the present, so who the hell knows where Season 3 will take her, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Ash (Bruce Campbell) next.

The Scoop: As fans can see in this exclusive production still, Ash vs. Evil Dead is going to a brand new realm in Season 3, the likes of which the characters have never seen before. "The Dead World is a realm never explored in the Evil Dead franchise," explains Ray Santiago, the series regular who plays Pablo Simon Boliva. The murky, ashy, almost Stranger Things-esque location might seem similar to our world, but is "a place where all your greatest fears come to life, and force you to face what scares you most."

Fans should expect Ash and team to be pushed to the limit in Dead World. According to Santiago, they can "trust no one. Who is dead? Who is alive? No can tell." "In the Dead World, even Ash and the gang might be done. [It's] a place where the choices you make determine your next destination," says Santiago. "Dead or alive, here it comes."

Where We Left Off: Thanks to Overkill (Scott Speiser), Arthur (Griffin Newman) discovered the Terror (Jackie Earle Haley) was trying to kill Superian, but before he could do anything about it, he was kidnapped and dragged to the lair of the Terror, leaving the Tick (Peter Serafinowicz) to belatedly realize something bad had happened.

The Scoop: When the series returns for the second half of its first season, the Terror won't be quick to act on his threats to kill Arthur. As TV Guide learned, instead, he's more than happy to torture him for a bit, while the Tick will be on an all-out hunt to find him.

Premieres: Sunday, Feb. 11 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) sacrificed himself to save Carrie (Claire Danes) and then President-Elect Keane, from an assassination attempt on Keane. However, after accepting a job in the West Wing, it didn't take long for Carrie to discover that her new boss was maybe not one of the good guys. After being sworn in, the commander-in-chief had more than 200 members of the Intelligence community, including Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), arrested and detained without official charges.

The Scoop: When Season 7 kicks off, Carrie has left her job in the White House and is living with her sister, reeling from the death of Quinn. Her focus this season? Being embroiled in a bitter fight against President Keane in order to get justice for Saul and the other members of the Intelligence community who were arrested. Saul, meanwhile, is perhaps looking for vengeance from within the system, having accepted a position as Keane's new National Security Advisor. New faces include Morgan Spector as Dante, a friend of Carrie's who assists with her investigation and Mackenzie Astin as Carrie's brother-in-law Bill, who's a new hire at the Department of the Treasury. Also returning for the new season is radio host and conspiracy theorist Brett O'Keefe (Jake Weber).

Premieres: Friday, Jan. 26

Where We Left Off: Elena's (Isabella Gomez) quinceanera was rocked by her father Victor's (James Martinez) disappointment and confusion over her reveal that she was gay, and he was a no-show when it was time for the father-daughter dance. You probably cried at this point. But as is the case with this tight-knit family, Penelope (Justina Machado), Lydia (Rita Morena), Alex (Marcel Ruiz), Schneider (Todd Grinnell) and Leslie (Stephen Tobolowsky) stepped up in Victor's absence and took over for him. You probably cried at this point too.

The Scoop: You can expect more romantic, professional and family hurdles to be overcome in Season 2 of the heartfelt series, but it sounds like one unexpected character will be a big focus. Much like Elena was the focus of Season 1, her younger brother Alex will get some meat to chew on in Season 2. "Alex this year, him coming to be a man and what that like in this home of women and his relationship with his father... all of that we get to delve into more this year," creator and showrunner Gloria Calderon Kellett says. And yes, the budding romance between Lydia and Leslie will move forward.

Where We Left Off: After Holden (Burkely Duffield) destroyed the bridge connecting the two worlds, he reunited with Willa (Dilan Gwyn), Luke (Jonathan Whitesell) and Jeff (Jeff Pierre) in the real world and escaped back to safety. Of course, because this is TV, everything wasn't fine. In a dream, a younger version of Holden revealed that his actions essentially destroyed the Realm... and the real world was next.

The Scoop: Things aren't looking too good for Holden and Luke as the former's abilities are going to be a source of tension for the brothers moving forward. "That's a big topic in Season 2 between the brothers that they really butt heads on," Duffield reveals to TV Guide. "Luke sees these abilities as a chance to be a hero, be someone of note, take the challenge in front of you and run with it. .... Holden sees them a lot more as a challenge and a burden that he has to keep a secret and that really brings harm and danger to him. Holden is a lot more adamant about suppressing these abilities and just wanting to move forward as a normal person."

Where We Left Off: When we last saw the doctors of Grey Sloan, a "Cheeto-stained pirate nerd" hijacked the computers at the hospital and demanded $20 million, forcing doctors to diagnose and treat their patients the old-fashioned way. With computers offline, several lives were left hanging in the balance, including a young boy named Frankie who wasn't suffering from a blood clot as Alex (Justin Chambers) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) suspected, but who was injected with a blood thinner that will likely kill him anyway. Just as Jo (Camilla Luddington) rushed to warn them, she ran into her abusive ex-husband, played by Matthew Morrison, and made it just in time to watch Alex administer the drug.

Elsewhere, Jackson (Jesse Williams) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) were transporting a patient via helicopter when the patient's tube came loose, spewing blood everywhere. The mishap caused Jackson to miss a very important text from Bailey (Chandra Wilson) giving him the go-ahead to pay the ransom and save the rest of the patients at Grey Sloan.

The Scoop: We'll see the fallout from the computer hacking and learn whether or not Frankie will survive the potentially lethal injection. Plus: The Shondaland drama will tackle domestic violence now that Jo's estranged husband has entered the picture.

Where We Left Off: After a plan to get dirt on Laurel's (Karla Souza) father's company went south, Simon (Behzad Dabu)) ended up being shot in the head, Laurel delivered her baby prematurely, and Connor (Jack Falahee) ended up 10 feet away from a murderer. It was not a great way to leave things for anyone. To make matters worse, we still don't know where Laurel's baby is, only that Annalise (Viola Davis) managed to resuscitate the little one in the hallway of her apartment building before the episode cut to black.

The Scoop: Laurel's father has been conspicuously lurking in the background all season, even though he's been a major topic of conversation among the kids because he killed Wes. According to showrunner Peter Norwalk, that's all about to change in the show's first episode back. After finding out his daughter has been trying to undermine him and destroy his company, Nowalk says that Jorge (José Zúñiga) will take "a very surprising action in the first episode back."

As for the romantic woes of Connor and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora), fear not 'shippers! Despite the back and forth of what can only be called a loose engagement, we might see some payoff for them before the season is out. "We're building to something at the end of the season, I'll say that for the two of them," Nowalk says.

Where We Left Off: Things came to a head between Olivia (Kerry Washington) and her father (Joe Morton), who were fighting for not only for power, but for the very people and things they cared about. Olivia's attempt to neuter dear old dad by stealing his coveted dinosaur bones only infuriated him further, leading him to kidnap her close friend, Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes). In the final moments of the fall finale, he fired several shots off-screen, presumably killing Quinn. The question remains: Is Quinn really dead or was he just bluffing?

The Scoop: While Olivia fights with her father, she'll also have to tend to her relationship with Mellie, which may soon fall apart if her devious acts as the head of B613 get exposed. "I think what we're starting to feel is the tension between [Mellie] and Olivia. Just a little of, every once in a while, catching things that she [hadn't caught] onto before," Bellamy Young tells TV Guide. "I think we're just a second from real instability," she added. And Mellie certainly won't be happy when she learns Olivia is the one behind President Rashad's assassination.

Where We Left Off: The sketch series wrapped up Season 7 with Sandra training her new pitbull, Chico; Lisa and Bryce selling garbage via their new business Instant Garbage; and Fred discovering the concept of models.

Where We Left Off: With "almosts" defining his comedy career and reconciliation with his ex-wife Jess (Lauren Lapkus), dead in the proverbial (and literal) water Pete (Pete Holmes) is looking to start over yet again.

The Scoop: Finally ready to accept that his marriage is done and this new, nonsensical world really is his life, Pete plunges deeper into the comedy ether. He's still crashing on couches, but getting greater tutelage and experimenting with life that leads to breakthroughs in comedy too. TV Guide has learned that Pete's early-in-the-season decision to drink alcohol, sets in motion some wild experiences, including a debauched night at a burlesque joint, an LSD trip and -- gasp -- his first-ever one-night stand, which in turn opens a portal to Pete's embrace of indie comedy. Season 2 contains a slew of great cameos, including a paradigm shifting encounter with Penn Jillette and a surprising run-in with rapper Wale, but the most impactful new face belongs to Ali (series writer Jamie Lee) who helps Pete loosen up and better his act.

Premieres: Sunday, Jan. 14 at 10/9c

Where We Left Off: Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert's (Thomas Haden Church) separation got extra messy, with Frances sabotaging her ex's business deal and Robert calling the cops on Frances to essentially claim she kidnapped her own kids.

What's Next: With a new showrunner, former Sex and the City writer/producer Jenny Bicks, on board, the black comedy ups the comedic ante with supremely awkward situations that complicate the ersatz peace the exes are trying so hard to maintain. TV Guide has discovered that Robert, living the (mustache-free!) life of a bachelor, is much more sad than suave as he takes a new, depressingly beneath-him job, and his depressing housing situation makes spending time with the kids difficult. Frances, meanwhile, keeps teetering on the verge of implosion; she flirts with Xanax, learns her dear friend Dallas (Talia Balsam) has been betraying her by screwing Robert's douche lawyer Tony (Dean Winters) and struggles to maintain relationships with her kids. She even gets banished to a spot for bad moms at Lila's (Sterling Jernis) school after an outburst -- and that's just the beginning.

Where We Left Off: It wasn't happy holidays for #Jeller, as Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) dropped a 10-ton megabomb on Jane (Jaimie Alexander): The reason he hadn't told Jane that he met her just-discovered daughter in Berlin is because... HE KILLED HER. Mic dropped, shattered into pieces, the dust blown off by the wind. Also, Hirst (Mary Stuart Masterson) was arrested -- but not killed, as Roman (Luke Mitchell) insisted -- for murdering Stuart and conspiring against the FBI, and was revealed to be working with someone bigger. That person? Blake's dad!

The Scoop: We'll obviously get to finish that Jeller convo for some answers, and it's not going to make things easy for the newlyweds. "More than anything, she feels betrayed that he didn't tell her this information sooner," creator Martin Gero says. "#Jeller is going to be on the rocks for a bit." But the "bigness" of the episode won't be contained to just story, and you can expect the globe-trotting and thrilling stunts to continue. A large part of the show's return was filmed in Marakesh, Morocco and Gero is stoked about a massive skydiving sequence that was shot for real, with no green screen, in the skies above New York City. "It's probably the most dangerous thing we've ever done," Gero says.

Premieres: Friday, Jan. 12 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: It hardly matters, to be honest. The prequel series to the popular hit film franchise starring Liam Neeson underwent a creative overhaul in between the first and second seasons, with most of the cast being given the boot.

The Scoop: Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals, who play Bryan Mills -- he of the very particular set of skills -- and Christina Hart, respectively, are the only actors returning for Season 2. Under new showrunner Greg Plageman (Person of Interest), the series will have more of a procedural element, following covert operatives as they embark on rescue missions around the world. New additions to the cast include Adam Goldberg (Fargo) as a hacker with a droll sense of humor and Jessica Camacho (The Flash) as Santana, a brash former army captain.

Premieres: Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Quentin killed all of magic when he killed Ember, the creator and fickle god of Fillory. This means that Elliot and Margo are stuck ruling a fantasy world they can't control, with the fairies attempting a coup by smashing down their door in the Season 2 finale. It also means that while niffin Alice might be tame for now because she's cut off from the magical wellspring, all is not well with our favorite undead fiend. As for Penny and Kady, they might have made it out of the library, but no one knows where Penny will survive his magic related poisoning -- with magic gone, is he miraculously healed? Or will it only speed up his limited time? And last but least, the very last scene of the finale finds Quentin and Julia having a heart to heart: Q talks about how useless and guilty he feels, only to have Julia surprise him by making a spark. Perhaps magic isn't gone forever after all?

The Scoop: Though Julia defeated Reynard last season and regained her soul by showing the monster god (who raped her after murdering many of her loved ones) mercy, she's still can't quite figure out how to move on from the ordeal. In Season 3, TV Guide can exclusively reveal that Reynard's influence of Julia is nowhere close to gone -- in fact, might that be where Julia's singular ability to command magic in a magic-less world comes from?

Where We Left Off: Prom turned out to be an eventful night for the Adams-Foster family, but not in the way fans might have expected. Brandon (David Lambert) found out that his girlfriend has leukemia. Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) reconnected with Mat (Jordan Rodrigues) only to miss a text message revealing that her disturbed ex-boyfriend Nick (Louis Hunter) is the one that's secretly been helping her dismantle the campaign to make Anchor Beach private. However, the climax of the midseason finale was when Callie (Maia Mitchell) and AJ (Tom Williamson) helped Ximena (Isseth Chavez) escape detention by ICE Agents by hiding out in a nearby church. The winter premiere will pick up moments after the midseason finale ended with the three teenagers still bunkered down with police officers surrounding the building.

The Scoop: The midseason finale aired just as President Donald Trump began a campaign to rescind the DACA program. Although he eventually backed off the hot button issue, The Fosters will not. Co-creator Peter Paige confirmed to TV Guide on the set of the series' 100th episode that the show will continue to follow Ximena's story, which only gets more complicated once the teens are freed from the church. Helping Ximena find a pathway to citizenship will be Callie's main focus in the second half of the season. Nick will also return as the battle for Anchor Beach's soul reaches a climax -- and Mariana will not be ready for what he has instore for her.

Where We Left Off: It has been a tough time for Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) so far this season. Randall and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) opted to let their foster daughter, Deja, return to live with her mother without putting up a legal fight. After getting injured on the set of his Spielberg movie, Kevin entered a downward spiral of addiction, breaking up with Sophie (again), and finally getting arrested for DUI with his nieces in the backseat. And Kate and Toby (Chris Sullivan) were crushed by the discovery that Kate's pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. In the past timeline, the Big Three were in the midst of deciding where they'd go to college, a process that became complicated for Kevin after he suffered what would be a career-ending knee injury on the football field, dashing any hopes of getting a sports scholarship.

The Scoop: The moment all This Is Us fans have been waiting for is upon us: By the time Season 2 ends, we'll know the full story of how Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) died. And based on the flashbacks in the second half of the season, viewers will have a pretty good sense of when the information is coming. "In [the Season 2 premiere] where we reveal that fire, we see those three hallmarks that we know we have to hit," co-showrunner and executive producer Isaac Aptaker tells TV Guide. "Kevin has his broken leg, Kate has this dog and Randall has this girlfriend... We have to check these three boxes before we can come to the day that Jack is gonna die."

As far as the present-day plotlines, we'll see the Big Three getting back together, rather than having their lives explored in parallel but separate storylines. "Obviously they've missed a lot in terms of what's going on in each other's lives," co-showrunner and executive producer Elizabeth Berger says. "There's going to be a certain amount of guilt around that. There's going to be a certain amount of repair to be done." To that end, the Jan. 9 episode features a huge 11-page scene with all of the Pearsons in the same room "really hashing out some of the core issues of the Pearson clan in the way that we haven't really seen them talk about in such a direct way," according to Aptaker. The same episode will also feature flashbacks to a summer vacation spent at the Pearson family cabin. And a subsequent episode will chronicle a family trip to the mall. "It's something we've been trying to do since the show started, and we finally figured out a way to actually recreate a mall in the '90s," Aptaker teases. "It's going to be a good one. There's quite a lot of '90s fashion happening."

Where We Left Off: The mission to kill Jarif, the man responsible for the beach bombing, did not go as planned after Jaz (Natacha Karam) accidentally shot a kid (don't worry, it wasn't fatal) during his aborted meet-up with Aida in Iran. After Aida killed herself, Jaz disguised herself as Aida and killed Jarif, but before she could escape his fortress, one of his guards snatched her.

The Scoop: When the series returns, Jaz is in captivity and will be subjected to various forms of torture -- in an all-white room -- while Campbell (Anne Heche) and Dalton (Mike Vogel) butt heads as to the best route to rescue her. TV Guide has learned that when the team is given zero chances of survival in its initial plan to save Jaz, Dalton comes up with a new audacious scheme that will put at least one of their careers and lives in jeopardy.

Where We Left Off: Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) challenged the Klingon Kol to a fight (and won), while Ash (Shazad Latif) remembered what appeared to be the horrific torture L'Rell (Mary Chieffo) put him through during his time as a prisoner aboard her ship. (Some fans suspect Ash is actually the Klingon Voq and only remembering the medical procedure to make him look human.) After defeating the Klingons, the Discovery crew was on its way to Starbase 46 for a little pick-me-up when Stamets (Anthony Rapp), who'd been forced to make 133 micro-jumps during the Klingon confrontation, collapsed mid-jump, stranding everyone in unknown territory.

The Scoop: Stamets' eerie white eyes and rambling about seeing "everything" suggests that not only did he send them to the wrong location, but possibly to an alternate universe altogether. Does this mean they just landed in the Mirror Universe? It's very likely as the show already confirmed that it will tackle the fan-favorite plotline.

Where We Left Off: Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and Jason (Manny Jacinto) called off their shotgun wedding thanks to some help from Michael (Ted Danson) and Eleanor (Kristen Bell), who wanted Janet's (D'arcy Carden) dimwit boyfriend Derek (Jason Mantzoukas) out of the picture for fear of him blowing their chicanery against Vicky (Tiya Sircar), Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson) and the rest of the "Good Place." Eleanor showed Chidi (William Jackson Harper) the VHS tape of them confessing their love to each other, and asked Chidi what he thought of that; he replied he didn't have those feelings, and an obviously hopeful Eleanor shut down the conversation and pretended like it was NBD. Michael was met by his boss Shawn, who was thumbing through a stack of reports and asked him to take a seat, implying that the jig was up. He's in deep shirt!

The Scoop: As is the case in this torturous fake paradise, things will get worse before they get worser. And it starts with that meddling Vicky, who will go hard at Michael in the winter premiere, says creator Michael Schur. But is that directly related to Shawn's sudden reappearance? "The question, of course, is what Shawn has seen in [the reports], and why he has decided to show up now," Schur teases about Michael's impending uncomfortable work talk. As for Eleanor and Chidi, their love chat isn't over. "That conversation might be continued, in some form, at a later date," Schur says. That's essentially confirmation, right?

Where We Left Off: Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) put her career on the line by coming clean about stealing Maddie's (Lennon Stella) song, prompting Avery (Jonathan Jackson) to return home from the road to help her deal with the fallout. With Highway 65 nearing financial ruin, Zach (Cameron Scoggins) took a scorched earth approach, canceling the company credit cards and refusing to pay the electric bill so the employees were literally left in the dark, but later he and Deacon (Charles Esten) agreed to run the label as partners. However, as a result of how Zach treated his friends, Will (Chris Carmack) broke up with him. Alyssa (Rachel Bilson) kissed Deacon, but then he and Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) shared a moment before he left to accompany Maddie to Los Angeles, and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) told Scarlett (Clare Bowen) he's realized he doesn't need to be with her to be happy.

The Scoop: As Deacon and Zach try to navigate their new business partnership, Juliette deals with backlash from her admission of song theft and makes a shocking decision about her career in the final season premiere, TV Guide has learned. She also meets a charismatic life coach named Darius (new cast addition Josh Stamberg) who offers to help her navigate a new path, but Avery is (rightfully) skeptical. Meanwhile, while Maddie's out in L.A., she catches the eye of a teen heartthrob named Jonah Ford (new cast addition Nic Luken), who seems to be harboring quite a crush on her, but who may be bad news. Scarlett is determined to stay away from Gunnar (who's now sporting an iffy new platinum 'do) and have their breakup stick this time, but that proves to be more difficult than she anticipated. And the question of "will they or won't they?" regarding Deacon and Jessie will be answered sooner rather than later, as they each try to juggle their parental responsibilities vs. embarking upon a new romantic relationship.

New characters who will be introduced also include Sean, a military veteran who suffers from PTSD yet possesses a musical talent, played by Jake Etheridge; and Alannah, a newcomer in town who starts off as a backup singer but later realizes she's destined for the spotlight, played by Rainee Lyleson.

Where We Left Off: The midseason finale left our beloved Amy (America Ferrera) in weird spot -- at her ex-husband's new girlfriend's house on Christmas Eve. After a disastrous phone call left her reeling with this new knowledge, she got drunk at an impromptu party at Cloud 9. Amy, Dina (Lauren Ash) and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) then stole some motorized shopping carts and made the trek to stalk the new beau, only to end up out of juice and unable to make a quick getaway. They got caught by her ex and the new girlfriend, and ended up suffering through the most uncomfortable conversation of all time while waiting for their carts to juice up. By the time they'd stolen her lawn ornaments and made it back to the store, Jonah (Ben Feldman) and Kelly, the store's newest employee, had awkwardly flirted their way into a real date. For Jonah and Amy, it seemed like the timing was just not quite right in Season 3.

The Scoop: Regardless of whether the timing's right or not, showrunner Justin Spitzer assures TV Guide that Jonah and Amy aren't going to stagnate in the back half of the season. "Everyone in the store is gonna find out about Jonah and Amy's kiss soon," teases Spitzer. "They got caught kissing on the security camera footage from the tornado, and soon it's gonna be all over the store."

As for the Cloud 9 crew's reactions? "Extremely varied," Spitzer says with a laugh. We'll take that to mean Kelly, Jonah's new crush, isn't going to be too happy to realize she's technically the rebound girl.

Where We Left Off: In one of the show's most heartfelt episodes to date, the gang bid farewell to Rosario, who died off-screen of a heart attack. In the emotional half-hour episode, we saw a different and more vulnerable side of Karen (Megan Mullally), who was most affected by her death. The sitcom also addressed the real-life loss of Debbie Reynolds, who passed away in December 2016, when Grace (Debra Messing) briefly mentioned her mom's death during Rosario's funeral. In this year's special holiday episode, her portrait was also seen prominently displayed on a wall.

The Scoop: TV Guide can reveal that an upcoming episode will offer up new insight into Karen's bizarre past by unveiling a major detail that might help explain why she is the way that she is today. This trip down memory lane will also see the return of a familiar character who played an essential part in Karen's upbringing.

Where We Left Off: After berating her father for using Casey's name to get ahead at his job, Dawson will now have to work to save his life. Ramon took her harsh words to heart and while riding the train attempted to be a Good Samaritan. His plan backfired, however, and he received a knife to the stomach for his troubles. The fall finale ended with Dawson tending to her seriously injured father whose fate has yet to be revealed.

The Scoop: Ramon's injury will bring Chicago P.D.'s Jon Seda over for a few episodes. While he's there to check in on his family, he'll also have an unexpected reunion with his ex, Brett. "The first face-to-face will be in the hospital in the aftermath of this," showrunner Derek Haas tells TV Guide. "The one thing Brett wasn't counting on in having to save Ramon's life is that naturally, Antonio would rush up to the hospital to see how he is. And so, Brett is not ready. She just wasn't even thinking about Antonio [being] there so it catches her off guard." When they eventually do meet up, sparks will surely fly.

Where We Left Off: Voight (Jason Beghe) and Olinsky (Elias Koteas) confronted Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) after Voight discovered he was the one who'd been slipping information from Intelligence to Denny Woods. Jay (Jesse Lee Soffer) started to exhibit signs of PTSD.

The Scoop: Viewers will have to wait to see how Voight ultimately handles Ruzek's betrayal, but showrunner Rick Eid teases that the rivalry between Woods and Voight will ramp up to the next level in the back half of the season. "It'll go right through the Season 5 finale," Eid says of their power struggle. "It begins to escalate, and Woods begins to exert his leverage over maybe a different member of the team. They're both playing hardball, and it'll come mano a mano to the bitter end." Elsewhere, Jay's PTSD continues to spiral out of control, particularly in the Jan. 3 return episode. "His PTSD is definitely front and center in that episode," Eid says. "He probably hits rock bottom in that episode.... With the help of his team and in particular Upton, he just might make it."

There's also a big Chicago Fire crossover episode planned in honor of P.D.'s 100th, as well as a "ripped from the headlines" episode that explores sexual harassment in the workplace. And, while Ruzek's fate with Intelligence is left up in the air, he's got some good things in his personal life to look forward to, including a potential rekindling of his romance with Burgess (Marina Squerciati). Burzek forever!

Where We Left Off: Tom (Ryan Eggold) learned the truth about the skeleton in that suitcase and why Red (James Spader) is desperate to keep Liz (Megan Boone) in the dark... but was killed before he could tell Liz the full story. The winter finale ended with Liz, who was attacked by the same people who murdered Tom, waking up after being in a coma for nearly a year.

The Scoop: What's coming up on The Blacklist? In a word: answers. "The question of who killed [Tom] and what is in that suitcase, who is in that suitcase, are going to frame the rest of the season," executive producer John Eisendrath promises. "We are going to answer both questions." The winter premiere, however, is the Elizabeth Keen Show, and will mark a departure from The Blacklist's typical "Blacklister of the week" formula. Picking up after another time jump of indeterminate length, the return episode finds Liz living a totally new life, in more ways than one, "in a very unexpected place, both physically and emotionally," creator Jon Bokenkamp teases. "We have a clear understanding of where she's going and what her goals are, what her agenda is by the end of the episode." With the loss of Tom, Liz finds herself on a quest for vengeance that tempts her to embrace her darker tendencies. "She knows that within her is sort of the same DNA of Reddington," Bokenkamp says. "This is a person who knows she has a capacity to do things that cross lines." And all bets are off once Liz finds out what Tom was up to behind her back at the time of his death. "That is going to be very emotional for her, learning that Tom was engaged in yet another secret quest, after all the other secret quests that he had kept from her that she had thought were in their past," Eisendrath says. "And then, to discover that Red is involved... It's going to deeply affect her relationship with Red, when she realizes that all of the events that led up to Tom's death have, once again, to do almost entirely with secrets that Red is keeping from her." A few familiar faces, including Tom's mother Scottie Hargrave, will also pop up in the new year.

Where We Left Off: Mulder (David Duchovny) was dying from the Spartan virus and a UFO set its beam on Scully (Gillian Anderson).

The Scoop: The season premiere will find our heroes swapping places, with Scully now in the hospital and a healthy Mulder watching over her. The episode will quickly explain the switch, but trust us when we say you'll never predict the reason behind this exchange of fates. The surprising answer will also set the stage for Mulder and Scully's new adventure, one that weaves together their old nemesis the Cigarette Smoking Man, their son William and a dangerous new organization run by Barbara Hershey's Erika Price.

But in between confrontations with a world-destroying new threat, Mulder and Scully will also have time to investigate many monster-of-the-week cases, including deadly doppelgangers, alternate histories and monstrous teens. One episode will also dive into Skinner's (Mitch Pileggi) backstory, something that has hereto remained a mystery to X-Files fans.

And after Mulder and Scully's breakup ahead of the revival's first season, creator Chris Carter revealed that this season will see the two get "kissing close." So if you're hoping for a romantic reconciliation, you may finally get your wish! Chances of Mulder and Scully getting back together are especially high because Anderson has said this is likely her final turn as Dana Scully, and we can't imagine Scully riding off into the sunset without Mulder by her side.

Where We Left Off: After forgiving Grandma Sheila for telling Noah about his birth mother, Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) let her take the boy shopping for a winter coat. But Noah gets kidnapped at the store by a mysterious hooded figure. Meanwhile, Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) nearly kissed - and he got jealous after she later hooked up with the bartender.

The Scoop: The long-awaited Carisi-Rollins ship may finally come to fruition, but first, it's all hands on deck to find Noah. Peter Gallagher returns as Dodds to lead the task force in the search and also to provide some emotional support for Olivia from one parent to another. A guilt-stricken Sheila will try to be part of the investigation, while Olivia ponders if she could ever trust her again. The show's Harvey Weinstein-inspired episode will be set in the airline industry. Quantico alum Yasmine Al Massri will play a pilot who accuses her co-pilot, played by Weeds' Martin Donovan, of sexual assault. (Fun fact: Donovan guest-starred in an SVU episode in 2003 as a different character.)

Where We Left Off: After they teamed up on a successful surgery, Dr. Bekker (Norma Kuhling) asked Connor (Colin Donnell) to go for a celebratory drink and he declined in order to spend the evening with Robyn (Mekia Cox), who still felt slightly off even though an MRI showed that she had no lingering brain damage from her tumor removal. Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) realized the hospital's budget and financial systems were in worse shape than she thought. Noah (Roland Buck) resented April (Yaya DaCosta) acting like a big sister towards him during work hours. And Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) observed that Reese (Rachel DiPillo), after dealing with a number of violent patients, was starting to seem anxious about treating psych cases.

The Scoop: The hospital's financial woes will put increased pressure on Goodwin, to the point where her job is on the line. Despite their smooch under shamrock "mistletoe" in the winter finale, tension continues to build between April and Ethan (Brian Tee), especially after the return of Ethan's estranged sister, who will become a recurring character in the back half of the season. And she's not the only family member coming out of the woodwork: As Sarah finds it increasingly difficult to deal with her anxiety, her estranged father comes back on the scene. "That's a very difficult relationship," co-showrunner Andrew Schneider teases. Outside the hospital, Connor and Robyn's problems also escalate, reaching what Schneider and co-showrunner Diane Frolov describe as a "crisis level" in Episode 6. "Her behavior is still being influenced by her sickness, by her disease," Frolov says. "She really wants that not to be the case, but it is the case." Elsewhere, Will (Nick Gehlfuss) and Natalie's (Torey DeVitto) professional dynamic may start to have a negative impact on their personal relationship. "In effect, he's her boss, and that causes a lot of tension," Schneider tells us. "[And] their perspective on life is different. She's a single mom. Her kid is her emphasis in life. Will has never been married, doesn't have children. They just tend to look at the world a little differently." And, before the midway point of the season, one character will be leaving the show.

Where We Left Off: Katie (Briga Heelan) was promoted to senior associate producer, while the chemistry with her colleague Greg Walsh (Adam Campbell) became too intense to ignore.

The Scoop: Back-to-back episodes kick off the comedy's return, which promises more delightful nonsense from Portia (Nicole Richie) and a simmering love triangle between Katie, Adam and Jeremy (Veep's Reid Scott). First though, is a special treat: a Christmas episode devoted to the demented charms of Katie's mom Carol Wendelson (Andrea Martin) in "A Christmas Carol Wendelson."
