Lethal Weapon may have dropped Clayne Crawford and his character Martin Riggs from its roster after Season 2, but its Season 3 cast is still growing! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Psych's Maggie Lawson will join the cast as a recurring character this year.

Crawford has been replaced with Sean William Scott, who will play Wesley Cole, Murtaugh's (Damon Wayans) new partner. Lawson will play Wesley Cole's ex-wife, Dr. Natalie Flynn. Natalie and Cole apparently met in the military, where he was a soldier and she was a medic. Their relationship was brief, but it resulted in a child, which we assume has created an inescapable connection between the two characters.

Warner Bros. Television parted with Crawford in May after receiving complaints about his inappropriate on-set behavior. Audio of one such incident was leaked to Variety, in which Crawford said to Wayans, "You're the biggest crybaby p---y I've ever met in my life," to which Wayans replied, "Well suck this p---y's d--k." Crawford goes on to claim Wayans is only "in the game" because of his brothers, prompting more profanity from Wayans.

Lethal Weapon's On-Set Drama Was Crazier Than We Thought

Crawford addressed his firing on Instagram, posting, "To my cast and crew - CONGRATULATIONS on season 3! To the Fans - Thank you for the overwhelming support and love. Riggs was a dream role and the experience will live with me forever. My heart is full. Good Luck nxt season!!"

Lethal Weapon will return Tuesday, September 25 at 9/8c on Fox.
