A new girl comes to the neighbourhood school and Linus is smitten with her. Unfortunately, she develops the symptoms of leukemia and must go to the hospital for cancer treatment. Linus and Charlie Brown help her through the traumas of chemotherapy as best they can while Snoopy plays at being the world's greatest doctor.

Years ago, at the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm, a unique litter is born. With members including Snoopy, Spike and Belle, they grow up healthy and a good music band. However, they become separated as they become sold including Snoopy. Years later, Charlie Brown can't help but notice how depressed his dog is. He suggests that Snoopy's family should have a family reunion. The whole gang enthusiastically responds, and even when they return their birthplace for the shindig only to learn that things have changed, nothing changes the joy of reunion, or the chance for making some good music.

With the school year coming to a close, Charlie Brown is trying to work up the courage to meet his dream girl, whom he only knows as "The Little Red Haired Girl." However, he's too nervous to go meet her upfront and all his attempts to impress her at school backfire disastrously. His friends, Linus and Peppermint Patty, try to help, but only aggravate the situation, while Charlie Brown desperately tries to find a solution to this romantic conundrum.

Taking advantage of a newly acquired magic tricks kit, Snoopy decides to put on a magic act. For the finale, he turns Charlie Brown invisible, but he can't change him back right away. While Snoopy searches for the counter spell, Charlie Brown struggles with this bizarre problem, but realizes that he has a golden opportunity to finally kick Lucy's football.
