It's the '90s mashup of our dreams!

David Schwimmer is about to make all your '90s sitcom dreams come true!

Ross Gellar Schwimmer will be making a five episode appearance on Will & Grace for the revival's 10th season, TV Guide has learned. More importantly -- he'll be playing Grace's (Debra Messing) new love interest. Though Grace had a smattering of romantic subplots in Season 9 -- including a run-in with her ex-husband Leo (Harry Connick Jr.), she hasn't found herself in any kind of longterm relationship yet, so Schwimmer's addition will be a nice change, even if it's just for five episodes.

NBC was stingy with the details about his character or how he'll enter the story. The writers are still in the process of writing Season 10 episodes. Even the germ of news is exciting though because this will be Schwimmer's first big return to network comedy since Friends ended its 10-season run back in 2004.

While the former sitcom star has been busy behind the scenes as a director and producer -- and most recently appeared in the critically acclaimed The People vs O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story -- it's been 14 years since he's hung out on broadcast TV.

Schwimmer joins a pretty high-profile list of guest stars for Will & Grace Season 10, including Chelsea Handler and the returning Mary McCormack and Alec Baldwin.

Will & Grace returns Thursday Oct. 4 at 9/8c on NBC.
