Neil Patrick Harris, How I Met Your Mother's resident womanizer, has signed a deal to guest-star on Glee, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Hot off hosting last year's Emmys and Tonys, and with his third straight Emmy nomination and second straight Golden Globe nomination, Harris is making his way over to the Fox series that has won a Golden Globe and SAG award.

Details of his role and when he'll appear have not been released, but his rep told TVGuide.com that he will be in only one episode.

In January, reports surfaced that Harris was in talks to appear in the May sweeps episode by Dr. Horribledirector Joss Whedon, though that has not yet been confirmed.
