Voters haven't yet decided between their democratic choices for the presidential nomination, but viewers made their interest known with the highest ratings in MSNBC's 11 years for Tuesday's democratic debate. The event, in which Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama faced off, also earned the third-highest debate ratings of the '08 presidential campaign, with preliminary Nielsen numbers tallying at 7.8 million.According to the Reporter, the ratings were a veritable smackdown on the net's previous record of 3.7 mil, set in 2003 at the start of the current Iraq war.
