Good news: We won't have to wait until March 29 to see how this whole George/Izzie hook-up debacle plays out on Grey's Anatomy. Reliable sources (i.e. a just-released ABC bulletin) confirm that ABC has opted to air a fresh episode of Grey's this Thursday instead of an originally-scheduled repeat. Why the last-minute switcheroo? Two words: October Road. Apparently, ABC execs — encouraged by the show's opening-week numbers last Thursday — didn't want to lose any of that momentum in Week Two. And with the exception of American Idol, there's no greater momentum-sustainer on TV than an original episode of Grey's.Personally, I found October Road to be almost unwatchable. God-awful dialogue made my ears bleed.
