Top trainers Bob Baffert and Todd Pletcher, as well as bettors across America, anxiously await another shot at Derby glory after watching 50-to-1 long shot Mine That Bird become the second-biggest upset winner last year. The silver-haired Baffert, a three-time Derby winner and second last year, saddles likely favorite Lookin at Lucky as well as Conveyance. Pletcher, meanwhile, is looking to finally get lucky in Louisville by entering one-fifth of the field (filly Devil May Care, Mission Impazible, Super Saver, Discreetly Mine) after coming up short with 24 horses over the last nine Derbies. The coverage features celebrity red-carpet interviews by Natalie Morales and a stable of race commentators that includes three-time Derby-winning jockey Gary Stevens. — Roger Leister

Proving that repeated annihilations aren't enough to keep good villains down, those pesky, overturned trashcans with grating voices and death rays return to bother our favorite Time Lord again, this time in the midst of World War II. The Daleks give the Doctor and Amy a hard time, but at least the time-traveling duo get to meet Winston Churchill (Ian McNeice). — Michael Chant

Have you heard the one about the president, Sarah Palin and the Tea Party? Well, tonight you just might, as human joke machine Jay Leno and President Obama himself headline the annual charity fete, which raises funds for the WHCA scholarship program and doles out journalistic awards. Vice President Biden, however, will not be in the house (he's speaking at a fund-raising dinner of another type in Arizona) — a smart move given that he's sure to be ridiculed a time or two for his open-mic gaffe. — Jeff Gemmill

Fans of stock-car racing under the lights begin their favorite stretch of the Sprint Cup season at Richmond International Raceway, site of tonight's Crown Royal Heath Calhoun 400, the first of four night races in five weeks. The intimate three-quarter-mile oval at RIR is a real departure for drivers from last week's 2.5-mile superspeedway action in Alabama, where Kevin Harvick edged Daytona 500 champ Jamie McMurray at the finish by a mere 11 thousandths of a second. Harvick sits second in the standings behind four-time defending champ Jimmie Johnson, while Virginia native Denny Hamlin (a dominant winner in Richmond last fall) is perhaps the circuit's hottest driver. — Roger Leister
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Everybody's favorite prehistoric trio is back in the second sequel to the 2002 animated hit. In this PG-rated 2009 installment, Manny the woolly mammoth (Ray Romano), Diego the saber-toothed tiger (Denis Leary) and the rest of the gang go underground to rescue Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo), whose "adoption" of three dinosaur eggs gets him whisked away to a subterranean world by a mother tyrannosaurus. Other voices include Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott and Simon Pegg. — Joe Friedrich

"America's Worst Driver" will be crowned in next week's two-hour finale, but first, bad drivers in Dallas will get their chance to vie for the dubious distinction. Traffic is bigger in Texas, and so are the tempers, it seems, with Dallas being called the second worst road-rage city in America. When Bianca (Nicole Gaie Anderson) agrees to scare the girl who messed around with her boyfriend, the girl winds up dead and 17-year-old Bianca is accused of murder. Her best hope of avoiding prison time is for her best friend, Fallyn (Janet Montgomery), to come forward and admit she framed Bianca for the crime. Can Bianca's mom (Cynthia Gibb) and Fallyn's dad (William R. Moses) work together to set the record straight? — Rhoda Charles
