Who doesn't love Sugar? Last week, the outwardly sweet but inwardly manipulative pinup girl orchestrated Randy's embarrassing exit by persuading Bob to give the self-proclaimed grouch the fake immunity idol and single-handedly gave this edition its best and funniest moment thus far. Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker anchor coverage of the 82nd annual cavalcade through Manhattan, a grand gala featuring marching bands, 28 floats, 900 clowns, humongous character balloons — and a certain round-bellied, jolly guy in a red suit. This year's Turkey Day event is stuffed with slated celeb appearances and performers, including Miley Cyrus, David Archuleta, Charice, Darius Rucker, James Taylor, Andy Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Clique Girlz and Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart. — Dean Maurer

"Just keep it warm, Grandma, we'll eat when the game's over." Somebody better warn her that won't happen until late this evening, because following the matchup of the powerhouse Titans at the home of the hapless Lions, there's a Seahawks-vs.-Cowboys contest (Fox, 4:25pm/ET); prior to the Cardinals-at-Eagles gridiron finale (NFLNET, 8pm/ET). But hey, a little dried-out turkey is a small price to pay for a day of familial football to kick off the holiday season. — Dave Roeder

Storytellers
9 pm/ET VH1
His name is Kid Rock, as he shouts it out during "Bawitdaba" in this intimate concert at The Factory in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee. Rock brings it on that funky song and on the evocative "All Summer Long," the hard-charging "Rock N Roll Jesus" and more, backed brilliantly by his Twisted Brown Trucker Band. But in this series' tradition, he delivers more than a concert, sharing insights into his songwriting, his inspiration and the stories behind the songs. — Fred Mitchell

CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute

Performances by Grammy Award winners Alicia Keys and John Legend highlight the Anderson Cooper-hosted gala, which honors 10 everyday people for their extraordinary charitable work with $25,000 awards and singles out one for an additional $100,000. Celebrity presenters include Kate Beckinsale, Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek, Forest Whitaker and "Sexiest Man Alive" Hugh Jackman, who presents People's 2008 "Heroes Among Us" award to six folks picked by the magazine.
