And you thought your high school was rough? How about one with an evil 800-year-old sorcerer trapped in the basement dungeon who uses a foul-smelling gas to turn students into monsters? That's the challenge facing the exuberant hero of Disney XD's new animated comedy series Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, which has its official premiere Monday, Sept. 17 at 7/6c. (The show will air Mondays through Thursdays at 7/6c.)

Thanks to a magical Ninja suit, Randy has been granted super powers, which he uses to protect Norrisville High School from the Sorcerer and the various monsters he unleashes. Along for the ride is Randy's buddy Howard, the only person he's told about his secret identity.
Ben Schwartz of Parks and Recreation and Showtime's House of Lies plays Randy, Andrew Caldwell plays Howard and the ensemble includes animation standouts John DiMaggio (Futurama, Adventure Time) and Kevin Michael Richardson (The Cleveland Show, The Penguins of Madagascar) as well as Will & Grace alum Megan Mullally, John Oliver (The Daily Show) and Jim Rash (Community's Dean Pelton). And clearly having a blast as the dastardly, over-the-top sorcerer, is iconic English actor Tim Curry. Check out this clip of Curry in action:
