As if Russophobia wasn't already at full-tilt right now, Amazon Prime is ready to pick up where The Americansleft off in making us all side-eye anyone with an "ovich" in their last name.

The streaming service has revealed the first teaser for The Romanoffs -- which simply presents the show's stacked cast list, alongside some Cyrillic characters, before showcasing the series' title art -- as well as the premiere date for the series, which debuts October 12th.

The Romanoffs is the latest project for embattled Mad Mencreator Matthew Weiner, who announced the project before being accused of sexual harassment by writer Kater Gordon.

The show stars Mad Men alums Christina Hendricks and John Slattery alongside Aaron Eckhart, Diane Lane, Isabelle Huppert, Jack Huston, Amanda Peet, Marthe Keller, Kathryn Hahn, Noah Wyle, Paul Reiser, Andrew Rannells and others.

The Romanoffs is an anthology series centered on those who believe they descend from the titular royal Russians, whose dynasty ended violently in 1917 with the February Revolution and the execution of Nicholas II and (at least most of) his family by the Bolsheviks. Although the emperor's children perished alongside him, conspiracy theories abound that his daughter Anastasia Nikolaevna survived the slaughter.
