Eli (Alan Cumming) should be looking for a bodyguard whenThe Good Wifereturns in January. After confessing to Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in the midseason finale that he erased her final voicemail from Will Gardner (Josh Charles) saying he loved her and would do anything to be with her, she's ready to kill him.

Her weapon of choice is the go-to for any woman spurned: the dinner dishes.

Apparently, Eli didn't get the hint when she told him to get out of her apartment and staying has unleashed a rage in Alicia that has yet to be seen from the usually composed lawyer. She's serial killer-like calm until she has the dishes on the table and then starts chucking them fury-force in Eli's direction.

It's hard to say whether or not hearing the voicemail would have saved Will's life, but it would have let Alicia know that he loved her before he died. We can't tell if Eli barely ducks because he knows he deserves it or because he's too busy being grateful Alicia doesn't have easy access to a gun.

The Good Wife's Jeffrey Dean Morgan: Jason will "find a way to cross that line with Alicia"

If Alicia is that mad just finding out the news, Eli may be in for the battle of his life, in and out of the courtroom.

The war begins Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9/8c on CBS.
