Good news from The Good Place: NBC has renewed the forkin' great comedy series for Season 4, the network announced Tuesday. The episode order is TBD, but the first three seasons have all been 13 episodes.

The Good Place is one of the most acclaimed series on television, with TV Guide calling it the best show currently on television and the third best show of 2018 (one ranking is cumulative and the other is for the current season, so it's not contradictory, don't @ us). It's executive-produced by Michael Schur and stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D'Arcy Carden. Danson was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series this year, along with Maya Rudolph for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Judge Gen.

In its press release, NBC notes that the philosophically minded series has the most highly educated audience of any primetime broadcast show this season, so pat yourself on the back for being a smarty-pants if you watch.

The Good Place is currently in the midst of its third season, and airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
