Apparently There Are Billboards for The Flash's Ralph Dibny in Vancouver

This feels straight out of Better Call Saul

MaryAnn Sleasman

The CW is taking stealth marketing to a new level. Sharp-eyed Arrowverse fans in Vancouver (where all the CW superheroes live, obviously) spotted a billboard for Ralph Dibny's (Hartley Sawyer) detective services in anticipation of his return to The Flash in Season 5. Check it out below:

After the character's showdown with The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) in The Flash's fourth season, Sawyer told ComicBook.com that we'll be seeing a changed Ralph when the series returns. Meanwhile, executive producer Todd Helbing said that the Ralph Dibny we see in Season 5 will be closer to the Elongated Man we know from the comics, emphasizing his detective skills and teasing the eventual appearance of Sue Dibny.

The Arrowverse Crossover Has Found Its Lois Lane

But alas, in the meantime, resurrecting from the husk of a dead meta-human doesn't exactly put food on the table, and it looks like, if the billboards in Vancouver-- I mean, Central City-- are any indication, Ralph is ready to go back to work in The Flash Season 5!

The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on the CW.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, one of The CW's parent companies.)

Editors note: This story has been updated to reflect Ralph Diby's resurrection in the Season 4 finale of The Flash.
