Supernatural's Jensen Ackles Is the Batman We Deserve

We may be used to seeing Jensen Ackles fight supernatural baddies every week as Dean Winchester on The CW's Supernatural, but now we're kind of eager to see him take down mobsters and jewel thieves too. Ackles did not half-ass his Halloween costume this year, dressing up as the Dark Knight himself (we think Dean would approve!). And honestly, he's the Batman we all deserve.

The actor posted his costume pics on Instagram Thursday, and he went ALL OUT. The series of photos showed off his specially made Batsuit, complete with utility belt, cape, and cowl, and Ackles even posed against a Gotham City-esque backdrop and in smoky alleyways. There's Halloween, and then there's an Ackles Halloween, apparently.
