You Should Be Worried About Everybody in the Station 19 Finale

Plus: Jaina Lee Ortiz teases heat and steam for Andy and Sullivan

The firefighters of Station 19 are heading to Los Angeles for the show's Season 2 finale, but there may be sparks unrelated to any fires in Thursday's season-ender.

The Grey's Anatomy spin-off has been teasing a romantic tryst between Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) ever since they survived the windstorm in the midseason premiere. What seemed like a little flirting has been slowly fanning into a full-on thing. While it hasn't been made official, Jaina Lee Ortiz told TV Guide on the ABC Upfront red carpet on Tuesday that things are going to heat up between the two (pun intended).

"We're going to be working under a very extreme element -- fire -- and when you have fire, you get some heat and you get some steam," the actress teased. "That's just what happens in Shondaland. [Sullivan] can be McFirey."

However, while emotions will be flying, so will the danger. A wildfire will have the Seattle-based firefighters out of their element and therefore put them in even more danger than normal. So, don't be surprised if you're hyperventilating over a few of your favorite characters.

"You should be worried about all of us, because in our finale, we all go down to a massive wildfire," Ortiz's co-star Jason George teased. "We're all in a high emotional state."

After the show had their first major death a couple of episodes ago, everyone is on edge about who could make it out of this next big fire.

"It puts us in a lot of danger. With Chief Ripley passing two episodes prior, anyone could go at any time," Ortiz said. "Expect high energy, action, drama -- love triangles that don't stop."

The Station 19 Season 2 finale airs Thursday, May 16 at 9/8c on ABC.
