Samuel L. Jackson Might Be the One to Bring Down Donald Trump's Campaign

The actor says Trump is a liar, and he has a surprising way he can prove it

Liam Mathews

Samuel L. Jackson appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers Tuesday night to address a recent insulting Donald Trump tweet.

"I don't know @SamuelLJackson, to best of my knowledge haven't played golf w/him & think he does too many TV commercials - boring. Not a fan," the Presidential candidate tweeted Tuesday, in response to accusations from Jackson that he a.) cheats at golf and b.) signed Jackson up for a paying membership at one of his country clubs without permission.

Seth Meyers informed Jackson of the tweet, and the bemused Hateful Eight star doubled down on his claim that he has in fact met Trump on numerous occasions, including playing golf with him, and said that he has someone who can back him up: former President Bill Clinton.

Megyn Kelly says Donald Trump used to "woo" her with press clippings

Apparently, Jackson golfed with Clinton at Trump's club in the Bronx, which means it happened recently, because that club only opened last year. Meyers says that Jackson may have some difficulty getting Clinton to verify his friendship with Trump, for obvious reasons, but if he can, it could be the gotcha moment that brings down Trump's campaign.
