Lemme know if this strikes you as a little shady: Just one week after Fox announced that it had hired an independent counsel to investigate Paula Abdul's "relationship" with contestant Corey Clark, the little minx announced over the weekend that she won't be appearing in Fox's So You Think You Can Dance after all. Why? Well, according to her rep, Abdul's too busy promoting an American Idol DVD (huh?) and working on the show's new season (which hasn't started production yet). And, let's face it, those cradles ain't gonna rob themselves.
