Racy Pam Anderson Ad Banned From UK Airwaves

A racy ad featuring Pam Anderson has been banned from UK airwaves by the country's Advertising Standards Authority for what it called offensive content that is "sexist and degrading" to women.

In the one-minute ad, Anderson is dressed in a provocative power suit in a boardroom and address her staff about business strategy. One male employee begins to daydream of Anderson and another woman in bikinis and splashed with cream.

"Because of that, we considered the ad was likely to cause serious offence to some viewers on the basis that it was sexist and degrading to women," the ASA ruled.
