Rachael Taylor Joins Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones

Rachael Taylor is the latest name to be added to the cast of Netflix's Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Marvel announced Thursday.

Taylor will play Patricia "Trish" Walker, the best friend of the title character (Krysten Ritter). Trish is a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child TV star known to her fans as "Patsy" Walker. As former superhero Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a detective in New York City, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of her career. The character of Patricia Walker first appeared in Miss America Magazine in the 1940s, and was also known by the superhero identity Hellcat in the 1970s.

Earlier this week, it was announced that David Tennant will play the villain Kilgrave, a mysterious figure from Jessica Jones' past, on the series.
