Question: OK, so John Stamos is out of ER (Ask Ausiello 5/18), but what about Sara Gilbert? Will she still be among the interns next season now that her WB sitcom Twins has been picked up? — Sara Ausiello: That's TBD. This much is certain: She'll appear in next September's season premiere, which has already been shot. Speaking of Twins, based on the clips I saw at last week's WB upfront presentation, the show looks like a laugh riot. The chemistry between Gilbert and Molly Stanton is very reminiscent of the Darlene-Becky dynamic on Roseanne. And the writing is almost as sharp. (I said almost!) And say what you want about Melanie Griffith, but casting her as their dim-bulb mom was a stroke of genius.
