The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has filed suit against more than 50 individuals who resold their Oscar tickets, in some cases raking in tens of thousands of dollars per pair. In top-secret court papers, the Academy complains, "These people got to enjoy precious hours of their lives that we'll never get back because we were stuck at the longest, dullest awards show ever. And they earned as much as Tom Cruise does in five whole minutes? It simply isn't fair."
