Paula Abdul’s Pre-Game Performance

All that buzz about little Ms. Abdul debuting her new song at the Super Bowl, and for what? A pre-taped, lip synched performance. Granted she put some effort into singing along as closely as possible, but we secretly were rooting for her to rock out like she did in the old days with her first single release in ten years, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” All in all, we have to say were still impressed that the 45-year old American Idol judge was able to dance the way she did. Look closely for a bass-playing Randy cameo!Your take: Why do you think Paula scrapped the live performance aspect? Did she have a nasty case of stage fright?
