Henry Goodman — the London stage vet who last month replaced Nathan Lane as Max in The Producers — was abruptly fired from the hit Broadway musical Sunday, the New York Post reports. The show's, er, producers were reportedly unhappy with the progress Goodman was making in the role. Brad Oscar, who currently plays deranged Nazi playwright Franz Liebkind in the musical, will likely replace him.
