Question: Do you have any Numbers scoop?Answer: As you may've heard, Kathy Najimy is joining the cast in Episode 9, and will recur throughout the season. According to exec producer (and AAdict) Cheryl Heuton, "She's an addition to the campus world, not a replacement for Peter MacNicol. We expect him back after his stint on 24. Kathy's playing a strong, senior scientist who has a practical sense of the world and a desire to see women have a stronger voice in math and science. Alan (Judd Hirsch) will find her intriguing. How far that intrigue will go will depend on how much chemistry we see on screen."
