The Losers Club lives on
The Losers Club isn't disbanding just yet. Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, who starred as the younger versions of Beverly Marsh and Stanley Uris in 2017'sStephen King's Itand reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel, will share the screen again in a new Netflix series called I Am Not Okay With This, based on the 2017 graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman.
The streaming service announced on Monday that Lillis will star in the new dark comedy series as Sydney, a witty high school student with a dry sense of humor and strained relationships with her mother and her best friend's jocktastic boyfriend. Sydney might fancy herself an ordinary angst-riddled teen, but she soon starts to discover her own telekinetic powers. Meanwhile, Oleff will star as another Stanley in this new series -- this time as Stanley Barber, Sydney's adorkable neighbor who is billed as "the geek who is not cool, only he is cool by being uncool."
The series is co-created and executive produced by The End of the F***ing World's Jonathan Entwistle and Christy Hall and is being produced by Stranger Things' executive producers Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen alongside Dan Levine and Josh Barry.
