Morton Downey Jr., the confrontational '80s talk-show host who paved the way for the likes of Jerry Springer, died of lung cancer Monday at the age of 67, The Associated Press reports. Downey — a chain smoker who would blow smoke into the faces of guests who rubbed him the wrong way — lost a lung to cancer in 1996 and later became an anti-smoking crusader.
