Veronica Mars worshippers turned out in record numbers (relatively speaking) for the underdog drama's second-season premiere Wednesday. In its first face-off with Lost, Mars attracted 3.3 million viewers — its largest audience to date. The show also posted solid year-to-year gains in all key demos, including adults 18 to 34 (up 50 percent), women 18 to 34 (up 32 percent), adults 18 to 49 (up 18 percent) and really smart people of all ages (up 85 percent).
