Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Mega Buzz: Are Daisy and Deke Destined for Romance?

It's been hard to pin down what the relationship between Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and the roguish new character Deke (Jeff Ward) exactly is on this season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's got the banter of a potential romance, but then there's that whole, "He technically sold her into inhuman slavery" thing.

To help sort out the confusion, TV Guide went straight to the source to figure out whether or not we should be shipping Deke and Daisy.

"I don't think so," Bennet says of a potential romance. "In my mind it's like a brother-sister banter... and also every person that I've dated on the show has literally died like a fiery death, so for Jeff's sake, I hope it's not that."

It sounds like their chemistry and recent bonding sessions are definitely strengthening their connection, but that connection may only ever be one of friendship. You can never say never on this show though, so if you are shipping them, keep the hope alive. If time travel, aliens, and planet-shattering earthquakes are possible, an unlikely romance isn't exactly a tall order to keep.
