Naya Rivera Doing Her Ex Big Sean's "IDFWU" on Lip Sync Battle Is Very Petty

Glee's Naya Rivera and rapper Big Sean were engaged from April 2013 t0 April 2014. On July 19, 2014, Rivera married actor Ryan Dorsey, which had been the date set for her wedding to Big Sean. In September 2014, Big Sean released a song called "I Don't F**k with You" that was basically a dirty laundry-airing diss track against his former fiancée. And now, in July 2018, Naya Rivera is doing "IDFWU" on Lip Sync Battle. What an extraordinarily petty move.

"I Don't F**k with You" is a terrible song. Its subject matter and Big Sean's vocal delivery are intolerably whiny. I thought that as a culture we had moved on from the song and the deeply unpleasant drama around it. But Naya Rivera clearly has not, so she's forcing us to dig up this mess again. It's an unbecomingly thirsty move on Rivera's part, and I resent having to listen to and think about "I Don't F**k with You" again.
