Could it be that the never-heard last three words of Gilmore Girls were, "Fugue for Tinhorns"? (So-so joke? Sue me, sue me....)

Lauren Graham will make her Broadway debut as the female lead in a new revival of Guys and Dolls, Playbill.com reports. For the planks-averse, that means LG will play Miss Adelaide to Oliver Platt's good ol' reliable Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan Detroit.

"To be making my Broadway debut in this role, in this musical," TV's former Lorelai tells Playbill, "is truly thrilling."

Producer Howard Panter says the show is "thrilled with the casting of Lauren," calling her "the perfect combination of leading lady and natural comedienne."

Indeed, Lauren Graham fans, more I cannot wish you.

Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys) will helm the revival, which will begin performances Feb. 3, 2009, at the Nederlander Theatre. The official opening is slated for March 1.

In a previous March 1992-January 1995 revival of Guys and Dolls, Nathan Lane and Faith Prince played the leads.
