Larry King, Wife Call Off Divorce

After publicly calling it quits in April, Larry King and wife Shawn Southwick-King have stopped divorce proceedings.

"Larry King and his wife, Shawn, have both filed petitions to dismiss their divorce papers," spokesman Howard Rubenstein said in a statement.

King had filed for divorce and had been seeking joint custody of their two children, but in May the couple reconciled and decided not to move forward with the divorce.

"A lot of new things are happening to us and we are happy to be together as a family with our children," said King, who recently announced that he'll be stepping down after 25 years from his nightly CNN show this fall.

King has been married eight times to seven women.
