Just when you thought Lady Gaga had gone somewhat safe - what with the Tony Bennett jazz collaboration and a decidedly un-Gaga Barnes & Noble commercial — she shows us she's not giving up on being the premiere provocateur of her generation.
She and her boo Taylor Kinney had sex on a canvas for the cover of V Magazine's issue for peace, Vulture reports. The magazine is selling prints of the cover for $50, with all proceeds going to Gaga's Born this Way Foundation. The American Horror Story: Hotel actress posted the pic on Twitter, where she said "We made love on a canvas for peace." She writes in the issue that lovemaking is a defiant act in a violent world."
"We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago," she wrote in the issue. "We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people's hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence."
There's the Gaga we know and love: making the mundane messy and awkward in the name of art! Check out the pic below.
