Kevin Bacon Shooting The Booths
Kevin Bacon is ready to take aim at John Wilkes Booth. The actor is developing a series for Showtime about President Abraham Lincoln's assassin, Variety reports. The Booths will focus on Confederate Booth and his brothers, Edwin and Junius Brutus Jr., in their "dysfunctional" years leading up to the April 14, 1865 assassination of Lincoln at Ford's Theatre. The brothers, sons of British Shakespearan actor Junius Brutus Booth and actress Mary Ann Holmes, were all stage performers. Bacon will executive produce the period drama. No writer or outside production company have been named yet.
