Katherine Langford has booked her first gig post 13 Reasons Why. The actress, who will not appear in Season 3 of the high-profile Netflix drama, is set to star in Cursed from famed graphic novelist Frank Miller and Puss In Boots scribe Tom Wheeler. The upcoming Netflix series is a reimagining of a tragic King Arthur legend.

According to Variety, Langford is set to play Nimue, a teen with a mysterious ability who eventually becomes the powerful Lady of the Lake. Following the death of her mother, she teams up with a young mercenary named Arthur in the hopes of delivering an ancient sword to the wizard Merlin. The series will be a coming-of-age story told from Nimue's point of view and explore major themes such as the destruction of nature, war and finding the courage to stand up when the odds are stacked against you.

Wheeler will serve as showrunner of the 10-episode first season. In addition, he'll pen a companion book based on the series featuring artwork from Miller. Meanwhile, Zetna Fuentes, whose credits include This Is Us and How to Get Away with Murder, will executive produce and direct the first two episodes.

Cursed doesn't have a premiere date yet but the book is expected to arrive sometime in 2019.
