Kate McKinnon Brings Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Republican National Convention

Liz Raftery

There was an unexpected guest at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night -- and no, we're not talking about Donald Trump.

During a special RNC edition of Saturday Night Live, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Kate McKinnon) went on "Weekend Update" to discuss her recent criticism of Trump. When "Weekend Update" host Colin Jost noted that Trump had responded to Ginsburg's comments by saying her "mind is shot," McKinnon-as-Ginsburg unleashed one of her classic insults.

"If my mind is shot, then Donald Trump's mind is shot, stabbed, strangled, put in a vat of wet cement, and dumped in the Gowanus Canal," she told Jost. "His mind is sleeping with the fishes, but it's waking up to a Ginsburn!"
