Rahul Kohli is trading zombies for ghosts. The iZombie favorite has joined the cast of Netflix's The Haunting of Bly Manor, creator Mike Flanagan announced on Twitter on Friday.

According to Deadline, Kohli's character on Bly Manor is described as "a small town guy with a worldly mindset, who has returned to the country to take care of his ailing mother." Kohli played medical examiner Ravi Chakrabarti on iZombie, which wrapped its five-season run on The CW at the beginning of August.

In addition, Flanagan announced that Catherine Parker, who played Poppy Hill in The Haunting of Hill House, is joining the new season. T'Nia Miller (Years and Years), Amelia Eve, and young actors Amelie Smith and Benjamin Ainsworth have also been added to the cast. Smith and Ainsworth will play Flora and Miles, respectively. Parker, Miller, and Eve's characters remain under wraps.

The Haunting of Bly Manor is the second season of Flanagan's horror anthology series The Haunting, following 2018's hit The Haunting of Hill House. The new season, inspired by Henry James' classic novella The Turn of the Screw, will feature a number of familiar faces from Season 1, including Kate Siegel, Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Henry Thomas.

Flanagan has teased, "For Henry James fans, it's going to be pretty wild, and for people who aren't familiar with his work, it's going to be unbelievably scary."

The Haunting of Bly Manor is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2020.
