Last we saw Holly Hunter's one-woman twister on Saving Grace (Mondays at 10 pm/ET, TNT), her gun was pointed at the head of Patrick "Satan" Murphy (Rene Auberjonois), the priest who molested her as a child. Rest assured, that conflict is resolved in a big way tonight. Season 2 opens with Grace shocked by a fellow officer's sacrifice - and that, folks, is just the tip of the iceberg. Creator Nancy Miller says that Grace's guilt over her sister's death in the Oklahoma City bombing will also be addressed. "There will be episodes that touch on forgiveness," she explains. "One deals with [nephew] Clay asking her why she didn't babysit him the day before the bombing. And she's going to be [swept up] in the storms of the other characters." They include a secret harbored by her boss, Kate Perry (Lorraine Toussaint), and a tragedy faced by her partner, Ham (Kenneth Johnson). Look for guest stars too, starting in the third episode with Amy Madigan, Hunter's costar in 1989's Emmy-winning TV-movie Roe vs. Wade. But Hunter remains the heart of the series. Says Miller, "Her imprint is in every scene." Atta girl. - G.J. Donnelly
