Perhaps the most underrated drama on broadcast has been renewed, and it's the best news. NBC announced on Friday that Good Girls, starring Christina Hendricks, Retta, and Mae Whitman as three women who embrace a life of crime to make ends meet, has been renewed for Season 3.

On the numbers side, the show has a 1.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and averages 4.1 million viewers with seven-day delayed viewing taken into consideration. That's a modest showing, but where the show really shines is online. Digital viewing of Good Girls has increased every episode this season, allowing the show to double its non-linear viewership since last season. Translation: More and more people like to catch this show on Hulu or the NBC app each week.

The announcement comes as Good Girls just pushed into the second half of its sophomore season. In Season 1, the women worked closely with Rio (Manny Montana) and his drug cartel to launder money through various shopping centers. An increasingly intense police investigation led our three lead gals down separate paths, and the pressure tests their loyalty and puts them in even more precarious situations than before.

Good Girls has been able to keep viewers on their toes as creator Jenna Bans creates new twists to take these women deeper down the rabbit hole of organized crime. Hendricks is a tour de force as Beth, the picture-perfect housewife with an undeniable thirst for danger. Retta has offered on a stunning dramatic performance throughout the series, and Whitman brings an endearing levity to the series as the always-struggling-to-keep-it-together Annie.

If you haven't gotten on board with this delightful, thrilling series, then what the hell are you waiting for?

Good Girls airs Sundays at 10/9c on NBC.
