Who ya gonna call?

If your answer was Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, you're a winner! The Hollywood Reporter revealed the talented and perfect cast for the all-female Ghostbusters reboot on Tuesday.

McCarthy, who was already in talks to star in the film, has officially signed on, while negotiations with the remaining women are ongoing.

A reboot of the popular '80s franchise has been in the works for some time. Ivan Reitman, the director of the original Ghostbusters film, was initially on board to direct, while stars Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson had all agreed to reprise their roles. Bill Murray, however, remained elusive, probably because he had a bachelor party to crash.

After Ramis' death last year, Reitman bowed out of the project and Bridesmaids director Paul Feig came on board. It was then that the entire project was re-imagined for an all-female cast.

Both McCarthy and Wiig worked with Feig on Bridesmaids. Jones and McKinnon are currently members of Saturday Night Live's cast. Jones joined SNL last year, and was upped to featured player this season. Meanwhile, McKinnon has been a popular cast member since she first joined the show in 2012.

The new Ghostbusters is set to hit theaters on July 22, 2016. What do you think of this casting?
