Exclusive Video: See Chrisley Knows Best Star Julie Chrisley's Powerful New PSA for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Julie Chrisley is best known as half of one of TV's most outspoken reality couples, but now the star of Chrisley Knows Best is speaking out about a cause very close to her heart.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, the matriarch has teamed with Susan G. Komen for a new PSA encouraging early detection of breast cancer. TVGuide.com has your first look at the powerful spot, in which Chrisley opens up about her own battle with breast cancer in 2012 which began after her husband, Todd, encouraged her to get her first mammogram. Early detection played an important role in her overcoming the disease, and she has now been cancer-free for two years.

"I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones to have caught my breast cancer early," Chrisley said in a statement. "Until we find a cure, the best thing we can do as women is to know our risk and get screened. I hope that we will get the message out to even more women and give more people the chance to become survivors like me."
